Cargo Plane Crashes Near Karachi, Pakistan. November, 27

An Il-76 cargo plane crashed near Karachi, Pakistan just minutes after take off. There is believed to have been 8 people on board at the time of the crash. The plane was destin for Khartoum, and crashed into a building that is under construction so luckily no one was in it. Many people living in the surrounding area said that the crash was so loud they though that a bomb had gone off. I will update when more is learned about this incident.

Plane Crash outside of Cheneville Quebec

Another sad story, a man was killed today when the Cyclone 180 he was flying crashed into a mountain side just outside of Chenville, Quebec, which is just north of Gantineau. Very sad, just reminds us of the risks involved in flying. We will have to wait to hear the cause of this incident.

China to Open their Low Level Airspace to General Aviation

This is huge for aviation in China. This may also hurt many flight schools in Canada as many Chinese Students come to Canada for flight training. We will have to wait and see how this plays out.

Seneca College Plane crash east of Toronto kills 3

It has been a sad last few days for aviation. After todays safe ejection of the F-18 pilot, I have to share some bad news. A plane from Seneca college crashed killing all three on board. I am still waiting to hear more. My condolences go out to the families of those involved.

F-18 Hornet crashes near Cold Lake, Pilot Ok

F-18 crashed today around 1:30 CMT, near the Canadian Air Force Base at Cold Lake. The pilot ejected and is said to be ok, but we will have to wait to get the details. This is the second F-18 that has crashed this year in Canada, I think that the Canadian government should reconsider their plan to cancel the purchase of F-35s because there can't be many F-18s left.
